- Automatic mode lets you do whatever.
- Portrait mode automatically sets a large aperture which keeps the background out of focus.
- Macro mode lets you move closer to take a close-up picture. This mode is best for flowers and insects.
- Landscape mode sets you with a small aperture to focus on the whole background.
- Sports mode is good for photographing moving objects. Not only sports.
- Night mode is for shooting in low light and sets the camera to use a longer shutter speed.
- Movie mode captures moving pictures
- Aperture Priority Mode (AV) you choose the aperture while the camera sets all the other settings.
- Shutter Priority mode (TV) You select the shutter speed while the camera sets the rest.
- Program mode (P) Similar to Automatic mode but you have more control.
